DATE: Vintage, 1980s
An especially nice 18k gold Signet Ring, bearing a rather unusual heraldic crest. The intaglio carving depicts (according to Fairbairn's Book of Crests): "a stag statant ppr., beside a vine-tree of the first", or in other words... A Stag standing with all four hooves on the ground, in front of a vine with grape bunches. This crest was adopted by the Bradshaw and Kneller families of England. It's very cool, and even better that it's made by the esteemed Charles Green & Son.
